I was moved to tears by generosity. (Yes, it's true that my emotions are high, but still.)
The High River Catholic Fine Arts Parent's Association recently ran a fundraising campaign which concluded right before school was cancelled. When they submitted their order, they told me that they had voted and decided that since they didn't need as much money for the school now, they would pass along a greater portion of the proceeds to our small business knowing that we will be in for a struggle in the coming weeks and months.
To say I'm grateful is an understatement. Our community is amazing. Small kindnesses and empathy will get us through this together.

My mom and mother-in-law (aka the moms") have been busting their asses in the Roastery for several weeks to help get us through this market season. And so, in this, the third and final weekend at the Spruce Meadows Christmas Market, they finally get to enjoy themselves with a day spent roaming the over 400 vendors here. I've only seen them when they stop in to drop bags at the booth. They deserve it. I couldn't have done it without them. But I bet today they are wishing they got paid in money instead of free coffee and eternal gratitude!

Take a peek inside the Coffee Advent Box and you'll find 10 different medium roasts, 10 dark roasts, and 5 light roasts. But that's not the best part.
We came up with a list of fun seasonal names or greetings for each day but starting on December 1 we will reveal information about each coffee right here on our social media pages. Follow along to see what's in your cup! It's gonna be so fun!
We are currently out of stock of our first Advent Boxes and have a list of pre-orders to fill. But stay tuned here and we'll let you know if we have supplies to release more for sale before December 1.
