7 YEARS! Aug 15, 2017. Our opening day anniversary snuck by without any notice! This is just a trip down memory lane for us - gutting 88 Elizabeth Street and then rebuilding, landscaping, and paving. It was a HUGE undertaking. And with some help from a few cute little garbage collectors, my very talented (and willing) husband, and our parents, the reno would not have happened. Turning a retail clothing store into a commercial kitchen was not the best idea we've ever had, but with a little persistence, it all came to fruition. Both of our husbands and families have supported us wholeheartedly since we came up with our idea, and throughout the 7 years we've been open (j/k… our parents thought we would never be able to work together….). I could go on and on about how much we love it (we do!) and how I couldn't imagine doing anything else (I couldn't!), but I will just leave these pics here for your viewing pleasure. We don't have air conditioning at our house, so simple meals that I can throw on the bbq are an easy solution to my problem! These marinated chicken thighs and grilled pineapple served over coconut rice are AMAZING! And if you're headed out camping or to the cabin, our meal kits take all the guess work out of it!
