About Us

The Ridge sits atop 7 acres in the Canadian Rocky Foothills just west of Okotoks, Alberta; minutes from Calgary. The salt box home design was built in 1999 by current owners Randy and Laura Sawatzky, who wanted to build a country style home that looked like it has always been there.

The rustic, elegantly designed center conforms from village tap house for informal events to simply elegant for formal affairs. An open concept, state of the art commercial kitchen, is where guests can view the culinary masters at work. We host a variety of functions from large weddings in the summer months to indoor parties that seat up to 70 guests. We encourage everyone to experience the grounds and gardens.
