This powerful duo rumbles like the sound of the 50's, with Casey's unmistakable slapping standup bass driving the rhythm, while Danny's dazzling electric, acoustic and steel guitars conducting the melodic adventures under his rootsy-smooth baritone voice. You may recognize them, as they have already played the Listening Room before, having played behind Double Suede and Cash Uncaged. Rosanna D'Agnillo (piano/vocals) and Liz Tremblay (cello, piano) have a new concert mix of opera (Puccini, Bizet, Verdi) romantic jazz (Gershwin, Berlin, Arlen etc), pop favs from Toto to Ed Sheeran, debut songs from Rosanna's new album, zippy Italian favorites, Piazzola tangos, Einaudi dreamscapes, and all the good ole classical stuff that makes your soul soar and cry. Rosanna D'Agnillo (BA, MA) is an opera singer and pianist trained in San Francisco and Los Angeles and based in Calgary. She has several albums and accolades for her original works, and is most proud of her work as a music sherpa for youth singer-songwriters. Liz Tremblay is the music director at St. Stephens and the principal cellist of the Rocky Mountain Symphony.
