Teach proper functional movement at a young age
Not many of us were fortunate enough to be shown ideal functional movement mechanics when we started our sport.
Unfortunately, that means, as athletes we mimic idolized heroes without fully understanding the back ground or internal cues required to properly execute their training! Without the core understanding of stability at the joints, achieving full range of motion, proper rest times, and questioning proper muscle balance, we become a ticking time bomb for injuries.
