The end of this month (January) marks my first full year of JJ at Okotoks Ju Jitsu and it has opened up something in me that I never knew existed. It is my therapy, it is my exercise and the people that I train with have become my family. All the problems of my day melt away the minute I step on the mats and for 90 minutes I do not think of anything else.

The instructors are patient, kind and passionate about their art and sharing their knowledge of Ju Jitsu - which is proving endless.

If you have ever even been slightly interested in martial arts of any kind, I urge you to come and try a class - you will never be the same.

Okotoks jujitsu has changed my life. As I keep getting older it was imperative that I find something to keep me psychically fit. Jujitsu has done that and more, I have put on close to 15 lbs of muscle and it has changed my demeanour and attitude dramatically. I can honestly say there are no egos involved at Okotoks jj and that some of the students I have met have become some of my closest friends. Come down and try out a class. It will change your life.

Fantastic experience that has changed me to the core. Okotoks JJ can be undertaken by anyone and it will provide you with an incredible workout, knowledge and understanding of self defense, as well as increased confidence in yourself. The school is great, the instruction is delivered in a way that is easy to understand and learn and there is a tremendous sense of accomplishment that comes from training and improving. If you have ever been a bit curious about JJ and wanted to learn more about it, or just want to try a class to see if its a good fit, then do yourself a favor and give it a go.

Okotoks Ju Jitsu is a great place to train. My experiences training here have been nothing but positive. The instructor is knowledgeable and friendly, and the people that train there are welcoming to everyone who comes through the doors.

Okotoks Ju Jitsu is an excellent place to learn martial arts. If you've never trained in a martial art, you will learn the basics with friendly, patient instruction. If you've trained before, this is a great place to come to continue your training, as there is lots to learn.

I highly encourage anyone who has ever considered trying out a martial art to come try a class at Okotoks Ju Jitsu.
